The governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo, on Wednesday attended the 59th Ofala festival of the Igwe of Nnewi, Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III, which also doubled as his 97th birthday.
Soludo, who attended the event on Wednesday shared pictures on Thursday via his Instagram account.
Sharing photos from the event, the former CBN governor said,
“Yesterday, I was at the 59th Ofala and 97th birthday ceremony of one of the longest serving monarchs in Nigeria and perhaps the world – Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III, Igwe of Nnewi. Congratulations to Igwe Orizu III and Ndi Nnewi.”
