Children are blessings from God, while some find it hard to receive the fruit of the womb, for others this comes at ease. It is a great joy for a woman to put to bed after she has carried the child for good nine months and endured the pain and that is one major reasons why women should be respected and showed love. But the case of this lady is different as it seems that she does not value what God has freely given to her that most people pay for. This baby in this article was given birth to in the early hours of today, January 13, 2021 according to a report by TeboPost.
When I see this post, I felt really sad because I wonder why this lady would abandon such a child hours after given birth to the child. TeboPost revealed that a new born baby has been abandoned by the mother in front of a stranger’s door in Bafoussam, West Region of Cameroon. This baby was born today and according to the post, the umbilical cord of the baby is still hanging.
Reports have it that it is unclear why the lady chose to abandon the child in front of a stranger’s door and why she chose that particular door to abandon the baby.
I can imagine the pain this new born baby will be passing through, for crying out loud the baby is new to the world and should be treated nicely. Could it be that the family of this lady was not with her when she put to bed? because if they were with her, I am so sure that they would not have allowed her to abandon a day old baby.
She the child lying on the floor, a child that should have been taken care of and allowed to grow graciously, why are people this heartless? I wonder what promoted this lady to make such move, but I believe this is outrightly wrong.
Some are saying that the stranger is the father of the child who neglected his responsibilities, others also said maybe the lady is mentally derailed. But even of the stranger is the father, does that mean this child will taste hardship this way?
