Panic has engulfed an area in Nakuru County after a man brutally murdered his pregnant woman.
The 24-year-old man killed his 23 years old expectant lover and tried to commit suicide.
According to the media reports, the horrific killing happened at Olenguruone centre, Kuresoi south of Nakuru county.
Olenguruone location Chief, Wesley Langat, who confirmed the murder said they found the young woman’s body on the bed with her intestines popping out.
The man had tried to commit suicide after he had murdered the woman by cutting her throat. He also tried to use a rope to end his life but did not succeed.
He was rescued from the jaws of death and rushed to a nearby hospital.
The chief said the young couple has been having conflicts in the recent past.
The body of the deceased woman has been moved to Olenguruone hospital morgue and the suspect referred to Provincial General Hospital-Nakuru with an ambulance.
