“The suspect, upon arrival at the house, forcibly made carnal knowledge of the victim and immediately packed his loads from his house in Ile-Oluji and hid.
“Intensified effort by detectives led to his arrest in Akure, Ondo state. The suspect confessed to committing the crime during questioning,” he said.
PPRO noted that the victim was taken to hospital for immediate medical attention while the suspect was processed at the Akure High Court, adding that he “pled not guilty and was placed in the custody of the Nigeria Correctional Service pending further investigation. of the case.
