Plateau governor’s wife donates cash, food items to couple with quadruplets

Wife of Plateau State governor, Helen Mutfwang, has supported the couple that had quadruplets in Jos, with cash, food and other essential items.

Mrs Mutfwang, who visited the couple – Mr and Mrs Samuel Atanu – in Jos on Saturday, said that the gesture was to ease the upkeep of the children.

“These children are a gift to your family and our state; they will grow to do great things and fulfil their destiny,” she said.

The babies – three boys and one girl – born on January 23, appeared healthy and well-fed.

Mr Atanu, while thanking God for the babies, described their arrival as “a divine miracle and a blessing from the Almighty.’’.

He said, “See how the babies have brought us face to face with the governor’s wife. I never imagined we would be blessed with four babies at once.’’

He expressed gratitude for the support, saying that the governor’s wife’s visit had brought joy and encouragement.

He said, “My family is overwhelmed by the show of love and kindness from the governor’s wife. Our joy knows no bounds.”
