Simi Adejumo popularly known as Simi Drey was born and bred in London to Nigerian parents, she hails from Ibadan , Oyo state(South Western State Of Nigeria).
Simi Drey graduated with a First Class Degree in Broadcasting, Journalism and Media Communications from the University of Wales.
The talented media personality , who calls herself the Duchess of Ibadan, is always seen smiling on screen and in pictures.
She is an award winning Broadcaster who has worked in television and radio stations across the UK and Nigeria, she has interviewed a vast array of celebrities.
Simi’s first job was at Calon FM in Wales , where she worked as a media personality. She has hosted many events and celebrities both in the media and red carpet, including the MTVema awards.
Simi Drey has won several award including; Trek African woman of the year in 2015, best actor in a tv series by the maya award Africa in 2017, future awards Africa price for OAP in visual/audio in 2019, radio personality of the year by the intellects giant award in 2019.
Currently, Simi Drey hosts the Saturday Afternoon Show and the Sunday Afternoon Show between 12pm-6pm on The Beat 99.9FM, where she ensures listeners are always entertained by her charm, charisma and of course choice in good music.
