This Man was a very great Boxer who held lots of record until his loss in 1987, which saw an end to his successful career. He was a very strong and agile professional Boxer with great and undisputed records that made him popular amongst Americans and Fans of Boxing Sport worldwide.
Marvin Hagler as he was called, reigned as an undisputed middleweight champion from 1980 to 1987, he made twelve successful defenses of this title. In 2001 and 2004, he was named the 4th greatest Middleweight Champion and was named the 17th greatest fighter of the past 69th years in 2002.The International Boxing Research Organization rates him as the 6th greatest middleweight of all time, while BoxRec rates him the 29th greatest boxer of all time based on pounds count.
Hagler had a very successful career and remains one of the greatest fighters to ever step in the RING as a professional Fighter.
According to a report released by his Wife on Marvelous Marvin Hagler’s Fan Club page on Facebook, he died unexpectedly at his house in New Hampshire on Saturday. His wife demanded that well wishers and Mourners should respect his Family’s privacy at this moment because it came as a shock to them and they are still finding it hard to digest his death.
Surely, Hagler will be missed for his great impact in the world of Sport, this kind of loss always bring pain and one can’t take away the reality of getting beaten by death.
