A Nigerian woman identified as Laylah Ali Othman has narrated how she took a teenage boy off the streets and gave him a chance to become educated.
According to Laylah, she found the boy, simply known as Aliyu at a branch of her office in Wuse II, Abuja and he was laying down in guilt after breaking his fast due to his inability to see.
She said that the 12-year-old boy normally walks cattle from one side to another on a daily basis, but after hearing his story, she decided to take him as her son.
Aliyu was asked if he would like to go to school and he said yes, so the kindhearted woman contacted his people and after some back and forth, he was eventually enrolled into school.
Sharing a photo of herself with Aliyu and his family, the woman wrote;
”Hi FB family, meet my new Son Aliyu.. I found him at my wuse2 branch sitting under a shade just laying down, looking like he wasn’t feeling good, a staff of mine asked him what was wrong he said he broke his fast cos he can’t see,
