There’s this trend that was on recently in many homes but later seemed like it calmed down, but it never did. It just that the men started accepting it because of the love they have for the wife. It is the act of a man getting married to a girl, and the girl’s family becomes his responsibility outrightly. Responsibility in the sense that many of them will leave their homes, travel down to where you and your wife are staying and start living there with you, while you take care of them.
Many men have tried and are still doing this just because of the love they have for the wife, while some others who couldn’t bear it do speak up and ask the in-laws to go back, as he assists them from where he is. Most times, it denies a newly wedded couple the privacy they need to spend time together, know each other very well as they build their home together, especially when the wife’s family members move in immediately, the wife gets married.
A lady complained of such as she asked if such thing is still practicable, a man by name Matthew noted that that singular act made him call off the marriage plans she once had with a lady. According to him, the lady was a quiet person and due to that fact, her mother insisted that the lady’s last sibling who’s younger than their grand child must live with them, in their family house when he gets married to her daughter. That act alone which the man saw as being given conditions before marrying their daughter made him call off the marriage plans he had, with the lady.
I do say this that marriage isn’t an employment or job scheme, but an opportunity for two people who love themselves to come together and build a better life for themselves. Give birth to the number of children you can train properly and stop waiting for a man to come marry your daughter, so he can help wipe the suffering in your home.
