The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has uploaded 4.5% of the results from the ongoing Edo State governorship election onto its INEC Result Viewing Portal, IREV.
As of Saturday, reports indicate that 205 out of 4,519 polling units in the state have successfully submitted their results to the portal, which allows for public viewing of the election outcomes.
The Edo governorship election has been marked by various challenges, including delayed arrival of election materials due to heavy rains in parts of the state, especially in Edo Central.
However, the voting process is continuing as the state’s 2.2 million registered voters make their choice for the next governor.
More updates to follow as INEC continues to upload results.
