Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that the set of players at his disposal are not mature enough to compete.
Following their midweek 4-3 victory over Manchester United, the Blues played out a 2-2 draw against relegation-bound Sheffield United on Sunday.
The Blues conceded the second equalizer in the 93rd minute at Bramall Lane.
“At 52, you identify really quickly whether the team is ready to compete or not,” he told reporters after the game.
“Maybe this group is not mature enough to compete in games every three days.
“It’s a new team and we are still learning about their profiles. The process always takes time”.
