Nigerian man shares photos of what he found under the tiles of a house in Lagos

A Nigerian man has shared photos of what he found under the tiles of a house in Lagos.

@Elkrosmediahub who shared photos of what looks like a charm, said it was discovered after he decided to renovate a new space he got.

He tweeted; Took a space in Lagos recently, didn’t like the flooring, so I decided to break the tiles and add flooring amongst the renovation I was doing there. My tiler sent me these images yesterday. Said he found them buried under the tiles

Asked the facility manager and they said it was a woman that left before the last guy that used the space.

Advice? If you can, always renovate. Change the floor and the POP. Humans are weird in this part of the country. It’s fine if you don’t believe in juju and stuff tho.

Man seeks advice for his friend whose wife started acting strangely after relocating to the UK with him

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to seek for advice for his friend whose wife started acting strangely after relocating to the UK with him.

According to @iMotivateAfrica, the agreement between his friend and his wife was for him to be a scholar while she works full time.

The Twitter user added that while his friend goes to school and works only 20 hours per week, his wife was working full time and was making more money than him.

He added that their marital issue began in the first quarter of this year as she stopped dropping money weekly. The Twitter user wrote;

So last year July, my friend tied the knot with the love of his life of 4 years. It looked like a promising union but we were wondering why man rushed because he was barely 26 and she was 23 years old. As a matter of fact, he just got a job of 90k VAT inclusive.

A month after their union, he called me that he was in the UK already with his newly wedded wife. I was so happy for him and I wished him good success even as he was far away from home.

Apparently, he is the scholar and his wife is the dependent. I.e, He goes to school and has only 20 hours to work per week while his wife was working full time and was making more money than he was.

The problem started in the first quarter of this year as she stopped dropping money for weekly as planned since she is automatically the breadwinner.My friend said

“She started from picking suspected calls, staying late out after work and refusing to drop money to sort the weekly bills which is supposed to be the plan.” Note: The whole japa tingy was an all expense paid relocation by the guy (my friend).

The problem has now escalated because my friend needs to pay the remaining school fees as it was half he paid before they both moved to the UK. Initial Plan: I go to school while you work and when I’m done with school, you will go to school while i work too.

Question is, what do women really want? Also, what advice do you have for my friend because as it now, he does not even have money to pay for school fees.

Lastly, is the lady seeing another person? (She fit don see person wey get P.R). My friend will be reading y’all tweets.

Few people get to transit from being utterly indispensable to “eternally unforgettable.” This truth amongst so many others manifested in the manner in which friends and families have been mourning the astute businessman and generous philanthropist who lived life in line with the teachings of his Creator.

He never treated anyone as a minor or stranger or competitor. Jude was dear to anyone who had the qualities of endearment. He had a quiet way of being genuine.

Jude was a good person who without doubt has been rewarded with a smooth passage to heaven where he is with his Creator.

Aviation workers embark on nationwide protest

Aviation workers are currently protesting across the country over an alleged ‘obnoxious’ legislation.

Ben Nnabue, President of the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE) told newsmen that the protest is simultaneously taking place in all the airports in the federation.

Nnabue who revealed that they are demanding the removal of a clause in an act establishing aviation agencies that seeks to prevent trade unions from protesting, gave the federal government a 14-day ultimatum for them to look into their demands, or see them embark on a full-blown strike that might possibly shutdown airport activities.

He said;

“Sometime last year, we went to the national assembly to amend the act establishing the agencies, so that it would be more progressive.

There was one obnoxious clause that talked about trade unions not going on strike. “We were shocked that before they sent it to the president for assent, those clauses were maliciously inserted. So we have to fight for them to remove it.

That’s the whole idea.“It is a peaceful demonstration. It is after now and they didn’t hear us or didn’t look at our demands, then we get to the level of grounding the operations of airports,” he said.

“We have given government 14-days ultimatum to look at our demands, after which we now do what is called strike.”
