Nigerian singer, Jumabee, who is also the SSA entertainment to Kogi State Governor, has confronted a woman he gave accommodation months ago who reportedly sold everything and returned to the streets to beg with her kids.
Jumabee, whose real name is Juwon Olorunnipa, explained that the woman is a popular face in the area and is always seen begging with her kids so he chose to help her out of her situation.
For his last birthday, he got his friends to get her an apartment as he wasn’t in the country. The apartment was then furnished and she was given the place to stay with her kids.
However, she allegedly sold everything and returned to the street.
He said an organization later told him that they once did same for her, got her a house, but she left it and returned to the streets.
When Jumabee confronted her, the woman had a long tale to tell.
The governor’s aide shared a video of the woman and wrote: “Be careful who you help. If you are familiar with Kogi environ you will definitely know this woman.
“So some time last year during my birthday celebration, I was stucked in london due to the pandemic but I got my team to celebrate in my absence and of course they visited orphanges ,shared items for the vulnerables and I told myself that the only birthday gift I wanted was to take this woman and her kids off the street.
“So we got her an apartment, furnished it in our own capacity and gave her a token to start a small scale business. Sadly, she left the house in less than two weeks and sold all the items in the house.
“But she ran out of luck when a charity organisation reached out to me on Facebook that they did the same thing for her and even went as far as enrolling her kids in a private school but she withdrew them and sold the items in her house again.
“So guys, I am pushing this video out not for anything but for everyone not to think we didn’t fulfill our promises as she’s back on the street so obviously this is a “GAME” for her. Be careful guys, things dey happen for Naija!”

Popular Cameroonian-born singer, Dencia on Monday revealed how reality star, Nengi Rebeccca Hampson, contacted her to support Mercy Eke, during the BBNaija ‘Pepper Dem’ show.
Recall that Mercy Eke, who was a housemate on the ‘Pepper dem’ edition of the BBNaija show, was the first female housemates ever to win the reality show. A man has been apprehended for stealing bunches of plantain in Bayelsa state while trying to meet his girlfriend’s demand.
According to reports, the young man who was caught in Ebedebiri, Sagbama Local Government Area of the state, confessed to stealing the plantains to raise money for his girlfriend’s makeup.
During his interrogation, the suspect said his girlfriend requested for the sum of ten thousand naira (N10,000) to buy makeup and had given him a deadline to get the money.
He said he became frustrated when the deadline was approaching so he resorted to stealing.
The suspect whose name was not given, revealed that he entered people’s farms in Ebedebiri and harvested their plantains, which he planned to sell in order to raise money for his girlfriend.
However, he has pleaded with the community leaders to forgive him.
The photo of a commissioning ceremony for a street light has sparked condemnable reactions from Nigerians.
A politician in Cross River state, reportedly executed project said to be located at a junction few kilometers from Obudu cattle ranch.
During the commissioning, the street light was decorated in an altar-like manner as a lady could be seen holding a tray with unidentifiable items.
Two other officials could also be seen at the launching which has been criticised by many netizens. Many people likened the project execution and commissioning to that of actor cum politician, Desmond Elliot who commissioned a renovated bridge last year.

A Nigerian man with the handle @FasipeTobi has shared a very emotional story of how his mother made a big sacrifice to sponsor them in school.
In a post on Sunday, May 23, Tobi said that he was really moved to tears while narrating how his mum sold hot tea and homemade yoghurt on Lagos street to fund her children’s education.
The woman also used proceeds from the business to take care of her ailing husband who was blind.
Tobi stated that their story is a motivational one as his younger brother now works with Google while he is under the employment of Paystack.

American actor, Bryshere Gray, popularly known as Hakeem Lyon on Fox TV series, Empire, has been sentenced to 10 days in jail after pleading guilty to felony aggravated assault for choking his wife until she passed out.
Gray, 27, entered a guilty plea in his domestic violence case, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.
The rapper cum actor was arrested on domestic violence charges in July 2020, after a woman said her husband had assaulted her for ‘several hours’.
When cops got to their home in Goodyear, Arizona, Gray refused to come outside and barricaded himself inside the house overnight.
Police said the woman had multiple visible injuries on her body and that she said Gray strangled her at one point until she passed out.
Her injuries were non-life-threatening but she was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released, police said, adding that detectives and a Victim’s Advocate “continued to assist her after her discharge from the hospital.”
The actor has been sentenced to 10 days in a county jail and three years probation as part of his plea agreement.
He will reportedly not be allowed to consume illegal drugs and will have to submit to drugs and alcohol testing during his probation. He must also pay restitution to his victim.

Muyiwa Awoniyi, manager of Nigerian singer, Tems has reacted to a claim alleged to have been made by him that superstar artiste, Wizkid failed to pay the female songstress for her contribution to Essence.
Essence is a track off Wizkid’s ”Made In Lagos” album which features Tems. According to reports, she wrote the song as well.
However, a social media user took to Twitter to share a screenshot which he claimed was from Muyiwa’s Instagram page.
